Please don't call me a hypocrite.

I want to clean up our community. Yes I am involved in the racing industry, but I don't like a harmful environment anymore than a spotted owl does.

• I don't like that I now have asthma, and trouble breathing
  
  
• I don't like that I am losing my hearing
  
  
• It makes me nervous to see so many people in my industry getting seriously ill later in their careers from what we do

Am I personally a 'tree hugger' or 'greenie?' Hardly, but I am smart enough to know that if what we are doing is hurting my local community then it is also doing harm to the earth as a whole. There is really no reason that all the smart people in racing can't figure out how to build cleaner quieter racing cars that don't harm our environment and us. The technology and knowledge is out there, let's put it to use.
